Our girls, as you can see from the picture, were warmed up, in high spirits, and fully prepared to battle it out on the pitch for our rescheduled Matchday 2 fixture. Unfortunately, the anticipated match against Batanai Queens did not happen. The day began with a show of good faith. The kickoff time was moved from the originally scheduled 9 AM to 11 AM. This change was mutually agreed upon to allow both clubs to field their junior boys' teams, who also had important league games this morning. We were looking forward to a great day of community football. However, as the 11 AM kickoff time came and went, there was no sign of our opponents.
